Privacy Policy

Effective: April 28, 2026

1. Who we are

Engraving Art Studio is operated by Ricky Laser Art (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

2. Data we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive: your email address, display name, profile picture URL, and your stable Google account identifier (“sub”). We use this to identify your account and apply your usage quota.

When you use the Service we process the photographs you upload through our AI pipeline to generate line art. We log non-identifying job metadata (job ID, timestamp, output format, image size) for usage tracking and debugging.

If you make a payment, our payment processor (Paddle / Stripe) collects your payment details directly. We receive a transaction reference, plan, and payment status — we do not store your card details.

3. How we use your data

4. Image processing & retention

Uploaded images and intermediate files are stored temporarily to power the 4-stage pipeline (Generate → Trace → Clean → Export) for your active session and for re-download convenience. Files are automatically deleted after 30 days unless you delete your account sooner. We do not use your images to train AI models.

5. Third-party processors

Each processor handles your data under their own terms and privacy policy.

6. Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. The cookie is HTTP-only, marked Secure in production, and uses SameSite=Lax. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including GDPR / CCPA where it applies to you), you have the right to:

Contact contact@rickylaserart.com to exercise any of these rights.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, secure HTTP-only session cookies, and least-privilege access to backend systems. No system is perfectly secure; if you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We will post material updates to this Privacy Policy at this URL with a new “Effective” date. Significant changes will be notified by email.
